Vogue Mexico
An editorial and film shot for Vogue Mexico built around a single question borrowed from cinema: can two completely different physical languages carry the same emotional truth? Two women and one man were cast for their physicality and a specific kind of openness, the ability to move as interpretation, to find expression in their bodies without the self-consciousness that technical training can sometimes impose. Styling, hair, and makeup were directed to feel grounded in the reality of a dancer while remaining elevated and luxurious. The concept found unexpected depth in the tension between a hard industrial environment and the fluid grace of the figures moving inside it.
